We’ve had a glorious week here in Aumes.

We loved Pezenas, a charming village full of friendly folk.

Lodeve- a wonderful entrance across the river into the « centre ville ». Sete- lots of action around the port.Take a harbour cruise, most enjoyable.

We very much enjoyed the caves at Grotte de Clamouse. Also Montpellier is greatshopping if you are after teenage fashion. Pezenas market is excellent. Would highly recommend oysters in Meze. Love the pool, a tad chilly at this time of year though!

To our wonderful hosts, thank you for allowing us to share your home. We’ve been absolutely delighted with the facilities, the attention to detail, and your kindness. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Aumes. The high-light of our holiday has been a trip to Andorra! Valras Plage has been our favourite beach, with a bustling town - well worth a days visit. The fish market is incredible, as is the food in the local resraurants and bars.

End of a very quick week. The villa was lovely, so first a big thank you to John and Ann for putting together a wonderful « home from home ». We did manage to squeeze in one run round the village and two bike rides, one to Pezenas,  Castenau, and back, the other to Pezenas market because we thought  the parking would be difficult. Montpellier (follow the sites on the tourist map and use the tramway). Beziers Adventure - lots of challenges at various tree heights. Enjoy your time here, we did.

We leave here refreshed from our fortnights vacation. Due to our lazy lifestyle we must be giong back a few pounds heavier after all the BBQ mand restaurant meals. Your beautiful home has been enjoyed very much, my favourite place being the outdoor eating area. We have also enjoyed our lazy swims in the pool, very refreshing after sun bathing.

We had a fantastic holiday here in Aumes. The villa was a perfect home from home. Ideal when you travel with a young family. The kids loved the pool and the beaches at Cap d’Agde and Marseillan, and the adults loved the wine and BBQ’s.

Lovely villa. Good facilities and excellent pool - certainly for Molly. Beautiful area. Pezenas is a must on a Wednesday and Friday night when the shops are open from 9pm. until midnight. Make sure you explore the side streets.

Very friendly town and lots to see and do! Beaches, markets and historic visits, a perfect base for it all. The villa was lovely with a lovely pool that was put to good use.
